FM Qureshi announces to open Kartarpur Corridor
KHANEWAL – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in his message to Sikh community said that Pakistan is opening Kartarpur Corridor to promote interfaith harmony. He said in Pakistan Hindus are getting rights but Modi government has shown its true face by locking down the mosques in Occupied Kashmir.
Qureshi in his visit to Khanewal met newly elected members from south Punjab. Addressing on the occasion, he said the whole world is against Modi’s step of August 5 and people of India are divided on this issue.
He said BJP did not allow Muslims of Kashmir to offer Eid prayers and mosques were locked for Friday prayers. He said this shows that India wants genocide of minorities.
While announcing to open Kartarpur Corridor, Qureshi said Pakistan is protecting religious rights of minorities and they are given rights as per constitution of Pakistan.
Qureshi expressed hope that the struggle of Kashmiris will bear fruit and they will get freedom.
