BIRMINGHAM – Australia won the toss against England in the second semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and opted to bat first at the Edgbaston, Birmingham on Thursday.

Australia skipper Aaron Finch said, “The pitch looks pretty good, but won t change too much.” The Kangaroos made one change as Peter Handscomb has come in for the injured Usman Khawaja.

England captain Eoin Morgan said he would also have batted. He shrugged off his luck saying, “Not really bothered, before the World Cup we preferred to chase." England – as expected – are unchanged.
